1 (16oz) package Farm to Freezer Tomato sauce (thawed0
1 (14oz) can of jelled cranberry sauce
Brown brisket or short ribs in oil in fry pan on stove on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Add meat, tomato sauce, cranberry sauce, and water to slow cooker. Slow cook on low setting for 6-7 hours until tender or bake covered in roasting pan in oven at 350 F for 2-3 hours. Remove meat from sauce. Strain fat layer from sauce. Cut brisket against the grain. Cut short ribs apart. Serve with sauce.
